Hello Fellow Windsurfers,

Forecasts for Wednesday May 20 call for South winds of 33 with gusts of 44 mph:

As always, everything is free! There are no charges or fees of any sort. The GT31 GPS units and Aquapac Water Proof Cases will be provided to all racers.

Speeds shall be measured by "The Best Ten Second Run".

The Vector Canefire and Rockit Fins will be available for demo, along with the Carbon Art SP 50 Speed Board.

The KA Koncept Sail provided by WINDSURFDEAL will available to all racers. This sail has been used by most of our top racers, year after year.

David Knight won the 2008 Midwest Speed Quest using the combination of a KA Koncept Sail, a Carbon Art SL62 Slalom Board, and the VECTOR EX FIN.

The very cool GATH HELMETS provided by MURRAYS SPORTS are available for use to all racers. These are one of very few helmets to offer ear drum protection in the event of a severe crash.

We will have cold RED BULL ENERGY DRINK and Snapple Beverages served beach side courtesy Holinka Distributing.

We have Chinook Carbon Booms and Race Harness Lines available for demo as well.

We have several of the waterproof EPIC Action Video Cameras available to record your Speed Runs. These action videos will be posted soon!

Wind Speeds will be measured using the Windtronic 2 Wind Meters from Gusts.us. Copies of WINDSPORT MAGAZINE will be provided to racers.

A new Sponsor this year is ONIT PRO XTREME CREAM HIGH PERFORMANCE COATING. Unlike hydrophilic waxes which slow your boards down, this new polymer is more slippery than water, and reduces friction. We have demo product here and ready to apply to your board!
